Ajstrup Strand Camping can be found just 17 km south of the centre of Aarhus, right by a lovely sandy beach on the Kattegat passage.
Ajstrup Strand Camping is a child-friendly family campsite with 400 pitches and 21 cabins, 10 of which are luxury cabins with their own toilet and bathroom. There is plenty of shelter for tents, and many facilities for both children and adults, including crazy golf, a football field, a playground and bouncy castle, 2 trampolines, and an activities room with various games such as air-hockey, darts, puzzles etc.
There are good bus connections to both Aarhus and Odder (see www.bus-info.dk)
New in 2005: Wireless internet, new caravan pitches, and the site has been awarded a seal of quality (meaning it is considered good overnight accommodation for cyclists) by Aktiv Danmark, part of the Danish Tourist Board.
