There are many campsites in Denmark; so here are some reasons why you should visit Hølken Camping. If the weather doesn’t suit for a few hours on the beach, you can still enjoy the water in Odder Swimming Pool. For instance every Monday between June 27th and August 19th, Træfpunkt (children’s activities) are arranged in co-operation with Odder Feriehuse, where we paint T-shirts. In this same period, Odder Museum and The Organic Garden have a number of activities for young and old. If the whole family doesn’t want to take part, an alternative is to take in the permanent exhibitions at the museum. |

Some of the treasures you will find here include Denmark’s oldest brandy-making equipment, and a large exhibition about hunting, while the Organic Garden proves that spray-pesticides aren’t required for a pretty garden. The Garden also features in a number of TV-programmes, viewers can for instance make their own dream garden.
If you take a drive into Horsens or Aarhus, you can get there in under 20 minutes. Both towns have plenty to see and do. Or if you need something a little different, an hours sailing will get you to Tunø, Endelave or Samsø Islands.
